I'm a programmer who is learning game dev in my free time.
I love to understand how games are made and how I can reproduce mechanics and build my own, that is the reason I'm learning.
I've been learning Godot <3 because I believe open source is a good way to distribute access to software and knowledge.
I also learned a little about Unity to do some small projects, but as my type of games involve pixel art and pixel-perfect mechanics and it is hard to do in Unity I don't feel it meets my needs.
